Monique Lhuillier Fall 2013

Tonight we witnessed the IT color of the season: Emerald. As Monique Lhuillier debuted her fall collection at New York Fashion Week her backdrop consisted of emerald green and black. The colors in the designs themselves were as vibrant as the emerald itself. Jewel tones are making headlines this season as we will see on the red carpet scene after everyone rushes to have Monique dress them! I am in awe of her wonderful designs and loving the dropped waist and embellishments. It gives me a taste of the Great Gatsby (which comes out on my birthday, side note).
