Leonard Fashion Show Fall 2013 RTW

After my not-so-successful weekend attempt at getting into Paris Fashion Shows I gracefully put on my heels and Michael Kors dress yesterday morning, invitation in hand, to attend the Leonard fashion show at the Grand Palais that afternoon. The only good thing to come out of my boss so far has been 1 invitation to a show, better than nothing I guess. Aside from the 2 shows I luckily got into last week I have yet to be inside the runway since, until yesterday. Yet despite my lack of entry into countless shows I have not come out empty handed. I have been able to take pictures to commemorate the gorgeous street fashions and styles from Paris Fashion Week. I've observed a lot of different styles, colors, and combinations of prints. It blows my mind how beautiful the Parisian women dress (half of them didn't make it into the shows). This was my utmost inspiration for dressing, well, Parisian.

Going to the show I did notice I walked with my head a little higher, my lipstick a little darker, and my dress a little sparklier. That's the allure of the Parisian woman. It also helped that I had my Anna Wintour shades on--peering deeply at everyone without them being able to do the same. Once I was inside with my (legitimate) ticket I was kindly escorted to my seat, located at the end of the runway near all the press photographers. In section K a Leonard gift bag and folder with details on the show were waiting for me. So this is how the other side lives? I removed my cheetah print (faux) fur coat to reveal my low back gold sequined Michael Kors dress and took my seat while snapping pictures of the runway so that I'd never forget this moment. Finally at quarter to 1 the show began and the lights turned on and the bass of the music blasted throughout the runway. Model after beautiful model strutted down the runway in extravagant prints and cut outs and sheer fabrics galore. I felt like Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City when she sat watching the fashion shows in New York. I too, felt like I belonged.
